You can open the Trade Journal either from the icon in the toolbar or from View → Trade Journal.

The Trade Journal is a log of the Trader’s actions. It shows everything – from opening a new connection to MT4 to opening all orders, positions, changes in the account, when a position closes etc.

The Trade Journal log shows a limited number of records. This number can be set in the Control Panel → Trade Settings – “Maximum number of journal records”.

Take note that each of the log files does not hold data only from this feature, but from all features that log events. The file names have the format “Log-YYYYMMDD.txt” where YYYY is the year, MM is the month and DD is the day of the month.
