There are several major changes in this release:

- New file structure:

- FSB compiles and loads dll indicators. It does it automatically.

- FSB overrides default indicators if a custom one has the same name. No changes of the indicator is necessary. Simply put the new one in Indicators folder. FSB shows the overridden indicators in brown.

- Added "Maximum consecutive losses" stats param and Generator/Optimizer limitation.

This is a release candidate version. No more major changed will be done. However there are some more
work to be done for the final release:
- fixing translations. - here you can help if you are natural speaker. The easiest way to do it is by using the integrated language tools.
- updating default data set.

Thanks for new version.

Since the moment i installed it I see error message - could not load the strategy,
designed for another market...

Do you have the necessary data. Please check the path to your data dir, if you have a custom one.

FSB v2.93 Beta uploaded. Please, see the download link in the first post.

Changes:

1. Changed Pips to Points. It's mostly a cosmetic change. All settings, indicators and strategies are compatible.

2. Indicators reformatting finished. You can download them form a link in the first post. These indicators can be directly put in the "Indicators" folder and will replace the integrated ones. In that way, you can easily change some parameter or logic.

3. Minor fixes:
- fixed Sharpe ration = NaN when there is no trades.
- fixed links to the new repository we are working on.

This version is a prerelease of the final FSB v3.0.
I'll change FST and FSB Pro to be compatible with the new indicator formats also.

The online repo will be used for the new reformated custom indicators

Please check this version for eventual issues.
If you find your language in the translations, please check it.
I'll replace the default data with new, if some of you provide a full set.

I decided to not include the automatic updater from FSB Pro. The reason is that this updater requires .NET 4. As we discussed earlier, we'll keep FSB and FST to .NET 2.

- Fixed a visual issue with indicator lists in Generator when a user uses dark color scheme.
- Fixed a major visual issue when a user changes Windows font size to Medium - 125%
- Replaced incorrect Generator text  "Generate a new strategy at every start" with "Generate higher profit than the initial strategy"

I have installed it on clean VPS but it does not wrok.
The message wallike can't find instrument file
the application will not lunch after this message.

It happened also to me once. I'll check what is going.

Check if there is instruments.xml on User Files\System

FSB installer doesn't install instrumnets.xml file during installation .It does so in order to not override your symbols settings. When FSB runs for first time, it loads your old instrumnets.xml and reads the settings from it.
If it's a new installation and there is no old instrumnets.xml, FSB generates a default one and save it.

Can you post what files are in Forex Strategy Builder\User Files\System folder?

FSB v2.98.2 RC released.

There are several changes in FSB v2.98.2 from the previous RC:
- Fixed bug reported by Doug: Generator doesn't select proper indicator values. The bug was in inproper initialization of indicators.
- Fixed issue when installer doesn't delete config files when users wants it.
- Added debugging code that has to report eventual errors when FSB loads custom indicators. This addition fixes a mysterious crash of FSB on @slipshod's computer.
- Starting splash screen is no longer TopMost. This will allow an eventual message at startup to be visible.
- Fixed links to Repository.

Please report any issues you may encounter.
All features are fixed in this release, but I'll fix all reported bugs before releasing the final version.

FSB v2.98.3 RC releasd.

It detects the installed .NET version. It uses the higher (2 or 3.5) available.
If the user has only .NET 2, FSB compiles the custom indicators with it.
If it happens that some of the indicators has fancy code using .NET 3.5 syntax, FSB will ask the user to update his .NET version.

Everyone must be happy.

I'll apply same code to FST also. It's not a problem with FSB Pro since it always uses .NET 4.

Yes you can. You can install on different path or, if you prefer, you can move your previous installation in other place, or simply rename the old version's folder.

Also i have a Qs
i have windows 7   and all my installed software installed by default in program files(x86)  but the FSB installed by default in program files folder why is that ??  and if i forced the insulation to x86  is that ok ?

This is because these programs are compiled for 32 bits processor.
FSB is compiles for 'Any" processor. It can run equally well on 32 and on 64 bit processor and OS.
Program Files is the better place for FSB.

i downloaded the new fsb in a new folder '' FSB 2013 '' so i have now

FSB Pro

but when try starting the fsb 2013 the launcher  didnot load and stop at the start

Delete all custom indicators in "Indicators" folder and in "Libraries" folder and try again.
