Topic: Indicators that change past signals!

Yes, it sounds strange, but there are such indicators.

The indicator Fibonacci is one of them. It is based on Zig - Zag indicator.

It tends to remove the past loosing signals.

Re: Indicators that change past signals!

Hey you! I want to ask you, what is that zig-zag indicator? Is it too old to use it in MT4?? What is better, Fibonacci or Zig-zag? Help to be better
Thanks

Re: Indicators that change past signals!

Hey the zig zag method is based on what calculations, or is that the explanation of the Fibonacci?

Re: Indicators that change past signals!

Zig-Zag indicator calculates the minimums and the maximums.  Fibonacci indicator uses these points to calculate the levels. The source code is here: http://forexsb.com/library/source/Fibonacci.html

Re: Indicators that change past signals!

It means both are complementary? I've been trying with Fibonacci but I can't see signals it supposes to show. Do you think it is because high-fluctuated times or because holidays? Adrian

Re: Indicators that change past signals!

I really can´t get the difference between Fibonacci and the Eliot waves, are they used for the same thing? or the complement themselves the indicators. Can you give me a hand with that please.
