Topic: Generator Settings Generator

Hi,

i have build a small tool where you can create your settings files by click.

You can Download INI file or Upload Existed Files and make changes.

Maybe @Popov can put it online on website or whatever . but it works local.

Its an html file but i dont know how i can upload it here. so i change name to .json

You have to change .json to .html

Re: Generator Settings Generator

Very interesting!

You can share it with me if it is on GitHub or another repo.

I'm also thinking of an online version of ExGen, with the possibility of importing/exporting settings.

Only a few hours ago, I decided to use the ExGen backtester in my new application, PineGen.
We will see how fast it will be. (PineGen will be a new-users-oriented, free online application).

Maybe you can change or upload it in correct file...json was allowed so when change to .html it will work

Re: Generator Settings Generator

It looks nice!

I still want to make a free online version of Express Generator.

It will also be possible to import and export settings files and adjust them online.

I want it to present a user experience similar to the offline version.

The idea is for users who want to try Express Generator and the EA Studio / FSB Pro users to experience ExGen at full speed.

If it is successful, it may become the main way to generate strategy collections. I assume it will be 2-4 times faster than EA Studio.
