Here's another way that I'm using it...
After running a couple dozen EAs in a Demo Account for a week or so I like to go back and compare the results from the forward testing with the back testing stats.
I'm curious whether certain stats from the back testing are better indicators than other stats when it comes to guesstimating how the EA will behave in a live account.
As an aside, I've been using a wonderful indicator called MyMT4Book (http://www.mymt4book.com/). It makes it so much easier to monitor the results when testing many indicators at the same time. I use the stats from MyMT4Book and compare those with the back testing stats.
