Topic: Generate Strategies based on End Parameters

Dear Popov

I am new to the FSB. 

I would like to generate scalping strategies using the FSB professional but could I do it the other way where they are based on certain predefined parameters for eg

i) Currency pair, just say EURUSD

ii) Timeframe - say 15m

iii) Take profit - 25 or 30 pips

iv) stop loss - 15 to 20 pips

v) Days - a variable which can be optimised separately

vi) Time range from/to - variables which can be optimised separately

Based on the above, can I set the FSB to generate the algorithms which will produce potential/profitable strategies?  From these pool, I can then use them for further improvement/optimisation.  If so, how do I proceed.

Yes, you can do it.


i) Currency pair, just say EURUSD
ii) Timeframe - say 15m

Set it as you wish in the editor

iii) Take profit - 25 or 30 pips
iv) stop loss - 15 to 20 pips

Set up Stop Limit indi in Closing Point slot as you desire

v) Days - a variable which can be optimised separately
vi) Time range from/to - variables which can be optimised separately

In Opening Logic slot select Day of Week and Entry Time indi

Then, move on to the generator, link the slots and generate.
