Topic: Trading Binary Options

Dear traders,

The Binary Options trading is a relatively new matter, but it spreads rapidly. There are at the moment about 10 MetaTrader brokers that offer Binary Options trading via a MT Plugin or with expert advisors.

There are also more than 400 brokers that offer various online or desktop platforms for manual trading.

We know that many Forex traders sees more opportunities with the Binary Options and converts to that market.

If you have experience, if you are new to that matter and want to know more, you are welcome to join our community.

When there is a major market event, such as the FED rate decision, the volatility usually goes up. This may cause your custom indicator or expert advisor to generate a trading signal which is based on the sudden change of the parameters. Often this will be a losing trade so it is better to turn off the EA or to ignore the indicator signal in extreme volatility conditions.

I was wondering about that, seemed like the best strategies I ran across in the BO tester were mean reversion EAs that performed horribly around even higher volatility times of the day like London open and NY open but made it back over the rest of the day plus some.   I guess if that's consistent they should filter out high volatility times like those and news events, for that style of strategies.

Have to admit BO is a refreshing change of pace from traditional trading.  Switching the price distance question for a fixed time variable is quite a different perspective.

You can probably try to limit the trading session by using the "Entry Time" indicator.

Every strategy has the best time to trade nad best time for entry. You just have to find it.
