Topic: Candles

I am new to Forex Strategy Builder, and the following question will likely make that fact very obvious.

I want to base my buy/sell signals on a mixture of technical indicators (Alligator, Fractals)  and candlestick patterns. I can see how to utilize the indicators, but how can I specify a specific candlestick pattern? In other words, how can I use the high, low, open, and close on a bar or bars in FSB?

Hi Max,

The candlestick patterns are not yet included in FSB.
However you can use some of the other indicators to simulate the candlestick logic.
Try Top Bottom Price or combinations of Moving Averages with period of 1.

If you need a particular logic post it here. We will try to find a solution.

Thanks for the ehlp. It sounds like I can test for the high and low price of a candle. Can I also get the open and the close? If so, I can make this work.

How would I get those: High, Low, Open, and Close Price of a candle?
