Is it possible to import the data for other currency pairs for FSB so I can try my strategies on other pairs instead of the standard ones that came with the program

Re: Currency Pairs

User manual should point you in the right direction, http://forexsb.com/wiki/fsb/manual/start

Re: Currency Pairs

I have searched all the links and the documents available.

THere doesn't seem to be any option to import new currency pairs.

Kindly help!!!

Re: Currency Pairs

You do not "import" data. Yo save data in the Data folder, FSB loads the necessary file when Symbol or Period is changed from the FSB main screen.

in fact the above link does explains that. Basically you have to put the file of your data to be imported in the forexsb data direcory (by default C:\Program Files\Forex Strategy Builder\Data) , with the correct name , (eg EURUSD60.csv  for a 60m interval) and then select Market->reload to load the new data.

Re: Currency Pairs

Maybe need to add new currency pair to list of instruments?

Market > Edit Instruments ... > Instrument Editor Dialog box opens

At bottom, type in symbol in text field, then click "Add", then select new pair, then enter info (ex Digits, Lot Size, Spread, ...)
