Topic: Results are different between Top10 and EA Studio

I tried downloading different EAs from the top-10 page, imported them through EA-Studio, and tried different data feeds, but the results were completely different.

Re: Results are different between Top10 and EA Studio

Top-10 App and EA Studio performance match completely.

The difference must be in the EA Studio settings.
If you cannot find the reason, reset the EA studio settings, and you will have 100% equivalence in the results.

Re: Results are different between Top10 and EA Studio

Hi Popov, I did reset the settings to get the same results, but the results are the same when using BlackBull data feed, and I got different results when using another feed, but I remember that you said you are testing these EAs on all data feeds in EA-Studio, right?

Re: Results are different between Top10 and EA Studio

If testing or cross-validation is done across different data feeds, then it means that data feeds are not identical, because what would be the point of testing strats on the same piece of data. Therefore, one cannot expect exact correspondence between the results, it is not possible.
