Topic: New notebook - Most important factor for Speeding up EAs generation

Good afternoon,
while a high-quality VPS was an option until some weeks ago, my current notebook is asking for a change!

Please, sould you confirm that (with Chrome browser) the CPU speed is the single most important factor for speeding up EA generation? Or Is it RAM? Or both?

Any confirmation based also on experience on this is highly appreciated, given that I could consider this answer in choosing the new  notebook.

Thanks

CPU all along indeed. That's where the calculations are performed on.

From experience I'd recommend having enough RAM though. Calculate with about 2GB per instance (one Chrome EA Studio instance can use up to 4GB, which is the max Chrome allows).

Because EA Studio uses only one core/thread per instance, make sure that you have CPU cores x 2GB in terms of RAM. So if you have a 4 core CPU and hence run 4 EA Studio instances to max it out, 8GB RAM will be sufficient.
