Topic: FSB pro and MT4 backtest do not match.

Hello
I read the user guide page on the website, but I have a question

When I get expert for Metatrader 4 => in the backtest of Metatrader 4, the results are completely different from the results of the software.
I do not lock the opening and closing of the application
Backtest is very awful and disappointing

I use two methods in backtest

every tick ( the most prices ... )

2- open prices only ( fastest... )

Because I don't know which method is better

Re: FSB pro and MT4 backtest do not match.

Please use meaningful titles for your posts. For example, FSB pro and MT4 backtest do not match.

Imagine a forum with hundreds of posts named "please help me". It will be like a bookstore with books named "please read me".

It will also be very useful if you attach your strategy or the expert for examination.

...

Reason number one for backtest discrepancy is a difference in the historical data.
Please be sure you have the same data in FSB Pro and MT4.
However, the backtest results would be similar for a normal, not-over-optimised strategy.
Please be sure you don't use Volume indicators because the volume differs significantly between brokers.

Yes, I will definitely write the correct title from now on
My broker is windsor and I uploaded the bots 101101001(is eurusd1min)  I built with Fsb. The results are like the attached files in the first post
I did not use the volume indicator, the software created a robot for me

When do we use each of these two methods in the backtest and which results are better? Which do you think I should use in the backtest?
I don't know which method is better

Re: FSB pro and MT4 backtest do not match.

Use the "Control points" method for strategies created with FSB Pro.
Use "Open price only" for strategies created with EA Studio.

Do not use "Every tick".

Please comment on two bots, the data matches perfectly and is for the same broker, and I got a backtest from the same broker
Why did it work great in the software, but it was very bad in the backtest

Please pay attention to this strategy construction, Windsor broker and one-minute Eurusd symbol
Why is this happening?
