Hello!
I want to import more than 1 mln bars from Metatrader history files.
Can this limit (= 1 mln) bars to import be increased?

I do all as described in this post
But as I understand the max import bars setting is in another location....
In file DataSource_MT4History I increased
MaximumBarsLimit to 50 000 000
MaxIntrabarBarsLimit to 100 000 000
But during import of HST files I can't increase the number of bars above 1 mln (the program automatically change this number back to 1 mln)….
The same question is from charvz21 in the mentioned post....He loaded 4,8 mln bars but it was cut to 1 mln despite new settings....

You will have to restart the program after you make changes.
Try that and let us know

I restarted the program but max bars to import is the same = 1mln bars
Probably It should be changed in some other file with settings...
What is max bars to import in your FSB?

You are right. The HST import is limited.
You have to save the CSV files from your MT chart in order to load the complete series.

I can not be of a lot of help, I have never increased the bars.. I use daily and 4 hour data. 50,000 is lots for my purpose
