Correlation of Currency Pairs and How to Use It Properly

Correlation is the ability of one trading asset to repeat the directed movements of another one.

On the financial markets, this phenomenon can be visually identified in pairs with gold and silver, as well as various types of oil and oil products.

The strength of the correlation is measured in percent (or fractions): 100% (or one) is the highest degree of correlation between two assets. To determine this value, traders use Pearson's formula: select a set of price values for the two assets X and Y, determine the average values of X and Y within this set, add the result of deviation of each set value from its average and divide them by the result of the standard deviation.

LiteForex became a sponsor of a badminton clinic in Malaysia

The clinic was held by Zulfadli Zulkiffli and his coach Zulkiffli Sidek

The LiteForex-funded badminton clinic was organized for children from 7 to 12 years old in Malaysia. The 1.5-hour clinic allowed the participants to master basic skills and techniques under the tactful guidance of one of the leading Malay badminton players Zulfadli Zulkiffli and his coach Zulkiffli Sidek.  Also, the kids had a chance to challenge Zulfadli and his coach at an 1-hour tournament held after the clinic.

Changes in trading conditions in ECN accounts

Dear clients,

The LiteForex company informs you of a change in trading conditions for ECN accounts. From 26 December 2017, any kind of a trading instrument can be traded with raw spreads and zero locked margin on ECN accounts. When opening a trade, you will be charged the following commissions:

Forex major - $10 per lot
Forex Crosses - $20 per lot
Forex Minor - $30 per lot
Metals - $20 per lot
Oil - $5 per lot
CFD on shares - 25 cents per share
Stock indices - $5 per contract
Crypto - $10 per lot.

This innovation allows our traders to trade under the most transparent trading conditions possible and at the best prices, provided by liquidity providers on the interbank market.

Changes in the trading conditions for ECN, CLASSIC and CENT accounts

Dear Clients,

Please be advised of the changes in trading conditions on all LiiteForex accounts, which will take effect on January 9, 2018. For additional protection of the Clients’ trading accounts from the possible negative balance, the following changes will be made in the trading conditions:

Stop Out level for ECN accounts will be increased to 20%;
Stop Out level for CENT accounts will be increased to 50%;
Margin Call level will be increased to 100% for ECN, CLASSIC and CENT accounts.
Please kindly take this information into consideration when forming your trading strategy and make deposits to your trading accounts in advance in order to save the deposit and prevent Margin Call and Stop Out.
