I would assign ID=1 [one] for a certrain FST strategy attached to the EURUSD 15m chart, and for FXCM assign ID=11 [eleven] for the same FST strategy attached to the EURUSD 15m chart.

This is not enough. You have to set different Expert_Magic for each EURUSD chart.

The expert uses ID number to communicate safely with different copies of FST. It uses the Expert_Magic and Symbol to distinguish its orders. If you trade on one and the same symbol, you have to use different Expert_Magic because the symbols are same and positions will interfere each other. I'm not sure if this is true if both strategies are started on different MT terminal. Probably equal Expert_Magic will work well if ID is different.

I wasn't clear. When I attach the FST EA to a specific chart, for example the EURUSD 15m chart on the FXCM MT4 platform, I give it a unique 1-3 digit Magic Number. Then I give the FST strategy that I intent to attach to that chart the same unique 1-3 digit number as ID, hit the little green arrow, there is a 'whoosh' and the status column on the FST strategy says it is "connected" to the FXCM EURUSD 15m chart. Then I hit the 'Start AutoExecute' button on the FST strategy and it begins to execute. So when I was executing 4 charts on FXCM and 4 charts on Alpari, I had eight copies of the FST 'executing', each copy having a unique ID number, each one executing on a chart where the FST EA had that same unique Magic Number.

Just got a multiple time/price [13:00/1.31142] EURUSD 15m addition on quadcore PC which is running only FXCM MT4. [Dualcore PC is running only Alpari(US)].

OK, week's nearly over. Ran only FXCM noDD MT4 platform on quadcore Win7 PC. Ran only Alpari(US) MT4 platform on dualcore WinXP PC. Stategies were same on each equivalent FXCM and Alpari chart. All strategies were "Win". that is 'add entry only if original entry is a winner'. On each platform on several different strategies, very very shortly after an initial entry, there occured several [at least 2, sometimes 3 or more] additional entries, all at essentially identical time/prices. Different PCs, different operating systems, different MT4 platforms, different strategies, different charts. Isn't there some way to modify the FST-ExpertA so that there has to be a 10-20 pip price increase before it makes additional entries? Multiple additions are great if there has really been a 20 pip price increase between entries.

Jgp, this logs do not tell us anything about the reason for repeating orders. We need the MT4-FST Expert log files that are produced when Write_Log_File variable is turned on.
In this log the expert writes all FST request, orders request to the broker and broker's responses.
We want to see what broker responses to the OrderSend command.
If you war turned on Write_Log_File option, eh lg files are on your comp. Please locate that files.

I didn't on the Alpari twincore PC, but I did on the FXCM quadcore. And aren't those logs posted about several posts above this one and your last. Have I posted the correct parallel portions of the files? If so,do the three apparently different time bases make any sense to you? Local time on one, Server time on another, GMT on a third??? Have I somehow gotten corrupted FST software? Perhaps containing Malware? On both computers? If so, should I clean up my computers, get rid of the corrupted software and start anew? The weird thing is, that these strategies that sometimes [not always] produce multiple additional entries at virtually identical time/prices have been profitable, weekly, especially on the FXCM nodealingdesk MT4 demo. weird.

Ok, i've tried everything I can think of, including deleting and re-installing the MT4 platforms. Still, on 15m charts, there sometimes is an entry duing one bar, and multiple additonal virtually identical time/kprice entries in that or the next bar. If one employs only "Nothing" Same firection signal strategies, how long, how many bars does that Nothing insdtruction last? I can't beleive no other user is having this problem.

Seem to have got, after much deleting and re-installing, the multiple identical time/price Winner additon problem under control for AlpariUS [Build419] on the dualcore machine, will work next to address any remaining Alpari problems on the quadcore. After that address any remaining FXCM noDealingDesk MT4 problems on the quadcore, using same FST EAs developed for Alpari using Alpari data. Lessons learned? If I'm correct in assuming MetaQuotes supplies the basic MT4 platform to both AlpariUS and FXCM [but not to Oanda], whose operations/implementations are then modified, sometimes by a third party [like Boston Technologies], don't try to run them both at the same time on the same multicore PC. Can't believe no other FSB-FST forum member has had this problem.

On 20Apr on a USDCHF-15m Alpari-US Demo chart the MT4-FSTs expert executed order #19080428 sell at 17:08/.91013 and order #19080429 sell at 17:08/.91013 [Strategy= WinRevLngUpRhook]. For the next 17 15m bars it looks to this novice from examining the MT4Acct Hist, Experts Log and Journal as well as the FST 'Journal", that the expert repeatedly attempted unnsuccessfully to modify order #19080428 Sell. Finallly on 20Apr, five hours later it successfully placed orders #19081969 sell @22:13/.90895, #19081970 @22:13/.90895, #19081974 @22:13/.90892, #19081975@ 22:13/.90897, #19081976 @22:14/.90895, and #19081978 @22:14/.90895. Is this the way the Winner FST sstrategy is supposed to behave?? If not, can anyone out there explain why I sometimes [not always] get this result with Winner FST strategies, on different MT4 platforms, running on different computers, with different operating systems.

well, it's earlly on this week, but I developed a batch of "Nothing,Nothing" FST strategies and so far they have not produced additional unwanted virtually identical time/price orders at some time after the original FST EA order. "Winner" and "Add" strategies frequently do, lately, with Alpari-US running on quadcore Pc and FXCM noDD MT4 demo running on dualcore PC. Never had this multiple virtually identical time/price until recently. I suspect the martingale mod or some other recent mod has screwed up the "Winner" strategy operation. Pity because I liked "Winner" strategies with breakeven settings about 200.

Add, Winner, Nothing, New position opening or manual opening works in exactly same way. FST call a function named OrderSend to open a new position (or add).

I get addtional orders with virtually identical time/price vlues, sometime in the same bar, but last week 5 hours [on a 15m chart] after original order. It happens on both quadcore and dual core PCs for both FXCM and Alpari MT4 accounts. I have posted the MT4 Account Histories, Experts log, and FST Journal for several of these incidents. Nothing-Nothing strategies seem to be working OK on both PCs and on both

On 20Apr on a USDCHF-15m Alpari-US Demo chart the MT4-FSTs expert executed order #19080428 sell at 17:08/.91013 and order #19080429 sell at 17:08/.91013 [Strategy= WinRevLngUpRhook]. For the next 17 15m bars it looks to this novice from examining the MT4Acct Hist, Experts Log and Journal as well as the FST 'Journal", that the expert repeatedly attempted unnsuccessfully to modify order #19080428 Sell. Finallly on 20Apr, five hours later it successfully placed orders #19081969 sell @22:13/.90895, #19081970 @22:13/.90895, #19081974 @22:13/.90892, #19081975@ 22:13/.90897, #19081976 @22:14/.90895, and #19081978 @22:14/.90895. Is this the way the Winner FST sstrategy is supposed to behave?? If not, can anyone out there explain why I sometimes [not always] get this result with Winner FST strategies, on different MT4 platforms, running on different computers, with different operating systems MT4 demo platforms.

I want to tell you that the issue happens when Expert opens new order.

Expert doesn't know your strategy. It doesn't know whether you are using Add, or Winner or Nothing.

I think that issue is in the expert.
I updated expert in https://github.com/PopovMP/Forex-Strategy-Trader.
It writes an improved log file, writing log file is allowed by default and expert magic is shown in position comment.

Please find a way to post log files from expert!!!!

If I cannot explain clearly how to find them, ask some friend or expert to help you.

Other option is to use the announced personal assistance via "Windows Remote Assistance" service.
