Topic: When are stats calculated/updated after a data change?

I have started a procedure of weekly gathering new data from my live MT4 platforms and swapping it into FSB. I do this after 4pm Eastern on Fridays.

My question is -- after I swap in this newer data and load a saved strategy, is there anything I need to do to tell FSB to read this newer data, or does it automatically recalculate the strategy at load time with the most-recent 50,000 bars?  Are the stats and chart shown on the right side of FSB immediately updated?

The reason i'm doing this is because I want to see if the strategy is still performing well on the newer data (ie more OOS forward testing)

Forex Strategy Builder loads market data when the user changes the period or symbol. Once the data are loaded, FSB recalculates the stats and strategy. You can reload the data files by using the Ctr + L shortcut.
