Topic: Importing XAU/USD data from JForex (Dukascopy)

Hello,

First of all, thanks Mr. Popov for this great tool.

I imported EUR/USD data from JForex (Dukascopy) easily following the manual.

I'd like to import XAU/USD data too, but I'm lacking the "know how". Has anyone tried this before?

I think I should first create a XAU/USD instrument but I really don't know the correct parameters (digits, lot size, spread, swap, slippage)

Some sample 4 hour data:

2011.01.02 20:00:00,1417.775,1418.25,1416.604,1416.877,0.2
2011.01.03 00:00:00,1416.877,1417.95,1413.9,1416.55,4.01
2011.01.03 04:00:00,1416.541,1420.3,1415.5,1418.275,5.37
2011.01.03 08:00:00,1418.266,1420.975,1417.575,1420.075,4.81

Could someone help me to create a proper XAU/USD instrument?

Thanks in advance.

This information you can extract from your metatrader and from your broker site or by email to your broker. Each broker has different criteria so you will have to email the broker for some of it

A really easy way to get the correct parameters is to connect FST with your trading account and then look in the buttons in the Status tab (I think it's called 'Market Info'). This gives the info that FST is detecting from your platform.
