Topic: WF Optimisation choosen parameters

I would like to now how EA Studio choose the parameter for a given criterion. Since its better to take a parameters set from a "platform" is better than from "Spikes", it would be interesting to know if the optimiser has some function like that integrated.

Is that also in FSB-Pro?

What is "Platform" and what is "Spikes"?

EA Studio optimize the parameters (in Opitimzer and WF) over a presetted criterio (f.e. profit factor, R/T, R², ...). Does EA just take the parameter combination which give the best results for the criterion or does it also look for if f.e. the parameter neighboors are also stable. If not, its just a spike and in the OOS or Live trading, the algo will likely fail. If the neighboor are strong and you have "platform" of stable parameters, the algo is more willing to conintue that performance in OOS and live.
