Topic: Max 1 Open Position: does same EA on 3 pairs open max total of 3 or 1?

Dear traders,

just wondering if you could please clarify: if we run the same EA with same magic number 12345 ON 3 different charts ( h1 of GBPUSD, AUDNZD and CADCHF), with max open position = 1 for each EA version, wil the EA open contemporarily max 3 trades (1 for pair) or max 1 trade on the account?

The "Max open position" limitation is for the account. It is not specific per magic number or per symbol.

Here is the exact text of the protections is:

--- Entry Protections ---
Max spread (points)
Max open positions (all experts)
Max open lots (all experts)

The program will cancel an entry order if the limitations of the account are reached.
