Topic: Need help about the steps

Hi,

can someone tell me what this Numeric values steps are.

When i say Numeric values steps +- 10 Steps.. than i have a stop loss of 50 than he checked if there is a better strategy with a sl between 40 and 60? Or that he tried to find strategies with adding 10  to 50.. So like  SL 50 60 70 80 90 or 40 30 20 10..

The numeric value steps range help you to define how much do you want your search to deviate from the original.

+/- 10 means = search between 40 to 60 (from the original 50 parameter value).

If you only want to fine tune your strategies, then a smaller range would be better without destroying the structure of your original Strategy (what is considered as small range? it depends on your time frame.  For a D1 time frame, +/- 10 may consider big but for M1 time frame, +/- 10 is considered a small range.

However for SL, TP etc, you can use whatever range you prefer (according to your risk management style) irregardless of time frame.
