Topic: Totally different results with different brokers
Dear fellow traders,
I've just acquired FSB Pro and I must say it is a fine piece of software. Mr. Popov did a great job, no doubt.
After long hours trying to understand the software and reading post after post in the forum (to the point that I'm starting to feel I personally know many of you, thanks for sharing your experience), I finally came up with what I believe it is a nice strategy with a beautiful balance/equity curve (high SQN, low equity drawdown, etc).
On June 12th. I put the strategy to test on demo accounts from Forextime (ECNaccount) and Fxpig (SPA pricefeed). Initial balance: 1000€, leverage 1:100. The exact same EA was loaded on both with seconds of difference.
The FXPig EA has been performing beautifully: 7 closed operations with profit and as of now, 1 open position (in profit, so far)
The Forextime EA has been quite a different story: 56 closed operations, 49 losses and 7 profitable ones (no open position as of now). The equity curve has been a rollercoaster.
To be honest, I have no idea what is going on. Same EA's (loaded almost simultaneously), same accounts settings, but one is being a good boy and the other seems to like living la vida loca.
I'm totally puzzled. I was hoping some of you might help me to understand what's going on.
I'm attaching the Account History reports of both accounts for your reference.
Should you need it, I can provide the mq4 and the xml file (please feel free to use it if you believe it's valuable)
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,
mw
