Dear traders,

We are proud to introduce EA Studio v2. This is a major update of the application and make it easier and more familiar for the experienced MetaTrader users.

Description:
  • EA Studio uses only native MetaTrader indicators
  • Application’s indicator parameters correspond to the parameters of MetaTrader.
  • Position closes at the next Bar Open - this change neutralizes a bug in MetaTrader tester when setting ticks at the end of a tested bar.
  • Faster and simpler Expert Advisors -  the exported EA frame is written manually using the style proposed by MetaQuotes. It will be easy for any MQL developer to modify and customize an exported Expert Advisor.
  • Faster test in MetaTrader. The exported EAs use only native MetaTrader indicators without redundant calculations. It makes the MetaTrader tests as fast as possible.
  • Supporting all testing methods of MetaTrader – the experts show equal (or very near) results when using “Every tick”, “Control points”, and “Open price” methods.
  • Compact and self-sufficient expert advisor without external dependencies.
  • Supporting ECN brokers – the EA detects when the broker requires a separate protection setting.
  • Support of simultaneous orders placing – the EA checks and manages correctly a busy trade context.
  • All indicators’ numeric parameters are provided for modification in the Input section of the expert advisor.
  • Support of MetaTrader optimization.

Hi Popov, thank you for the update.

I don't know if it only happens on my computer or not, but when I import historical data from json file, thre's no data name. But the chart appears

And whenever I refresh the EAStudio page, the imported data is gone, is it correct?

No, it is not correct. The data must be persisted on the server. Can you attach one of these files?

These files have wrong configuration data.
Can you download the script again and try?
Do you use MT4 or MT5?

I think I know the cause of my problem, my MT4 isn't connected properly to the broker server when I run the script. The data name is now shown, and and the data is still here after refreshed

Yes, you are right. Now all info is available.

I got "OrderSend Error:138" when backtested my EA, I changed the backtesting method from "every tick" to "opem price" but still got the same error. I don't know if it's only happen on Mt4 or not. Would you please to check it?

EA Studio supports MT5 with native indicators.

It must be some of the Murphy's law - the software breaks only at user.

The EA Studio strategies are not compatible with the FSB Pro strategies due to two important reasons:
- EA Studio closes positions at the next Bar Open (vs Bar Close)
- EA Studio uses MetaTrader native indicators, which have different options (and some of them minor formula changes).

However, you can set the strategy in the FSB Pro editor and you will receive almost identical backtest result on the same data.

Tried it the EA studio with FSB to make

But the results were much different are see Annex

EA Studio SL and TP are set in pips.

Set SL = 450 and TP = 1050 in FSB Pro.

It will add unnecessary complexity in the Expert Advisors. Let's keep the EAs simple to be easy for the users to modify them.
We have this feature in FSB Pro for the seasoned traders. It is  also easy to change the trading volume in the EA settings once weekly when your account increases.
