What exactly is vertical shift? i noticed when i change its value it starts curve fitting my graph making the strategy look good .

Are you talking about indicator parameter? If yes, then vertical shift is vertical shift, it shifts the indi value vertically by user-defined number of points.

Yes in the indicator parameter, what does it actually do ? when you say shift the vertical indie value and why when its shifted we get a nice graph curve?
