Can we have an option to test strategies on random history blocks? not randomizing bars but selection of time period randomized?

Monte Carlo has a similar option - randomize start bar,

You can also change the date settings in Market so as to be able to do a walk forward

randomizing start location doesnt really make big difference because u are still in same history block. I can change date settings mannually yes but that is not very effective way , i would like to quickly analyze like what would do this EA at Q1 of 2015, or Q4 of 2015. just an example, I think being able to swap between start date of Strategy tester can bring much more versatility to EAs.

It is very easy - move the cursor over the Balance / Equity chart.

Multi Tester on the Repository page gets to the nitty gritty very fast, you can tell instantly if the EA is going to make the grade. Saves a ton of time
