Re: Simple Scalper

Thank you, I will try

Re: Simple Scalper

This does not make sense,

RSI  = 55>0
This is RSI is higher then the level line by 55 (got that)
CCI = 30>0
This is the CCI is higher then the level line by 30 (got that)

I don't get this
Commodity Channel Index    150 crosses 0

Is it CCI crosses the level line upward , and level set to 150 ?
or changes it's direction upwards ? by 150 ?

Hi a0011010011 :

The way I understand it, is the following :

CCI (period =30) >0 ("CCI is higher than level line"; level line = 0)

CCI (period = 150) Crosses 0 ("CCI crosses the level line upward"; level line = 0)

Hope that helps, at least that's the way I understand it.

Cheers, Pete

I use 4 slots only..... (plus the close and open).

Somewhere in this forum or the old forum is something that Popov made that did about 5000 trades in a morning... probably a far better strategy than this.

Does anyone know what strategy Blaiserboy is referring to?   It would be interesting to take a look at..

Pete.

Re: Simple Scalper

Probably Dave means something like that:

I use such strategies for stress testing new trading machines or brokers. However this is applicable only on demo accounts. We do not want to pay 5000 spreads to the broker for a day.

I will return from holidays in Mid May and be able to get my info for you.

After all these different inputs I am totally confused.
I would appreciate if you could define your settings from the initial first post for a simple scalper once more. Thank you
