would it not be useful to be able to import the weekly COT information (which is widely available for free on the Internet in all sorts of formats). for those who are not completely convinced in the reliability of technical analysis. is this Commitment of Traders information not the perfect solution for those of that opinion? does it not provide the perfect back test opportunities that makes technical analysis so popular. perhaps including interest rate data and other periodically announced figures would also provide those trying to exploit these fundamentals with some sort of reinsurance. 

this information in the shape of an indicator is already available for Metatrader (several versions) and is usefully but the Excel back testing still takes so much time.
