Topic: possibility to include more than 50 000 bars?

HI,

Why there is no possibility to include more than 50 000 bars?
When I want to generate a strategy based on 1min bars there is to short data horizon. Usually the generated startegy works only in the horizon limited by 50 000 bars.

You can use as many bars as you want.

Some experiences adviser builders use different dates rather than huge files. Perhaps you want to read up on backtesting methods and learn how the experienced developers approach things before trying to use a massive number of bars

My 'secret' goal is to push EA Studio until I can net 3000 pips per day....

To change number of trades you need to edit this file
c:\Program Files\Forex Strategy Builder\System\config.xml

- open in any text editor - notepad is OK - change the value between > and <
  <MAX_BARS>3000000</MAX_BARS>

Yes FTB can work with 3 000 000 bars you just need strong PC

Do this BEFORE you start the FTB
