Important Notice The feature described below was incorporated into the Forex Strategy Builder codebase on 10 February 2012. It is not included in the curent release (version 2.64). The feature(s) outlined below are only available to users working from the latest source code (please see the Source Code forum message for more information).

It is possible to add custom commands to Forex Strategy Builder that can be accessed from the menu, and also with shortcuts keys. These custom commands allow external applications to be launched from within Forex Strategy Builder.

The process of adding custom commands is as follows:

1. Create a new directory named Additional in the location where Forex Strategy Builder is running.
2. Add Windows Shortcuts (lnk files) to any application(s) that you wish to lauch from within Forex Strategy Builder into this directory. This can be done by copying existing shortcuts, or by creating new shortcuts in this directory.
3. Restart Forex Strategy Builder (if it was running when the directory or shortcut(s) were created).

The shortcut files are not stored in the Forex Strategy Builder configuration file and may be copied and moved just like an other Windows files.

There is no requirement to have a directory named Additional, this is only required if you wish to add custom commands into the application.
