====== Journal======

Forex Strategy Builder performs automatic calculations and offers detailed information about the transactions, orders and positions in each back test. 

The journal can be viewed in three formats: Journal by Positions without Transfers, Journal by Positions and Journal by Bars. You can toggle between formats by using the options in the View menu, or the button at the top left corner of the journal.  The journal can be closed by using the options in the View menu, or the button at the top right corner of the journal.

Make use of the [[explorer]] tool to get more detailed information about the price route through a given bar. To open it, double click on the bar you are interested in.

===== Journal by Positions without Transfers =====

This journal format reveals all the transactions in the order in which they have been executed, but only displays orders that have been executed in the journal.

This journal format reveals all the transactions in the order in which they have been executed.

===== Journal by Bars =====

This journal format shows market data, the state of the position at the time of closing of each bar, the virtual bank account, the required and the free margin and the back test evaluation.

The //ambiguous// bars lines in the table are colour marked.

One of the lines in the table is highlighted. This is the so called //chosen bar//. Detailed information about the orders and positions during the chosen bar is shown in the //Order// and //Position// tables.

These tables show the orders and positions within the //chosen// bar in the chronological order of their execution or cancellation.
