Hi Guys, I just wanted to know: must FST and MT4 be online 24/7 to be able to trade strategies?

Hi,
it depends on your strategy.
If there is a rule:
trade only from 8am till 5pm, you don´t need your pc online all the time.
Most time there is no such rule, so my laptop runs 24/7- time.
On Saturday the stock market has closed, so you can install updates on your pc.

Some brokers offer a free VPS so that your metatrader can be on all the time.
You would have to search to find those brokers, or perhaps someone reading this thread will know of one.
