Hoping someone might clarify how the vertical shift setting works in practice.

If for example you use the "Previous High Low" Opening Point of Position and set the logic at "Open at the previous High" and vertical shift 50

Doe this mean that a position will only be opened at a price 50 pips higher than the high of the previous bar?

Similarly if it was a vertical shift -50, does this allow the position to open as long as the price is anywhere between the previous bar high and 50 pip less
