Topic: Basic MACD

Hi! I'm new here. I would like to test a MACD strategy
Based on 1 day chart, EUR/USD pair.
Buy when MACD (12,26,9) crosses upward and sell when MACD (12,26,9) crosses downward
Anyone can help

Does the strategy tested above where enter BUY whenever MACD crosses upward, and close position whenever MACD crosses downward and enter another SELL position. When MACD recross upward again, close the position and reenter BUY.

Yes it does.

This:

[Closing point of the position]
Close and Reverse
     Close all positions and open a new one in the opposite direction

into the last slot makes it a crossover strategy

So the strategy shows a loss of -3501 pips (balance)?
What does minimum account means?
How about max. drandown?

Min account shows tha lowest position your account sinks to during your transactions. Max draw down shows tha max fall from peak value of your account balance.
