By the time you start a strategy , is any specific time period ( months ? years ? ) for reviewing your strategy ?

Hi,
Longer the period the better, because your strategy is tested on different market conditions like trending, ranging, low volatility, high volatility .. more chances to meet the same market conditions in the unknown future.
Also there is a need to have some meaningful count of trades. For me 100 is minimum. I like to use 2012 as starting point for H1 strategies.
