Topic: Generator not giving me strategies

Hello Fellow traders

Today wasnt a good trading day for me.

I loaded my broker charts well to FSB, However whenever i start the generator it would load till the very last and still no strategies are showing up.

I have tried on the major markets and also as far as tweaking the acceptance criteria but nothing in vain.

Could anybody be having the same issue?

I usually don't get any strategy if my acceptance criteria is too strict. Especially maximum stagnation.

min ambiguous bars: 10
min profit per day: 1
min count of trades: 60

These is what i have on my acceptance criteria.

i dont think its too strict

They are set

Entry is at 1.0 lot
max is at 4.0 lot

What is your TF and how old is your historical data?
Please try to generate the strategies using FSB default data and see if you get any strategies.

My TF is 5 min and the beginning of the hsist data is 2016-05-24

If you use FSB default data, do you get any strategies?
BTW how long did your generator run?

Try with 0.01 or 0.1 entry lots. Your account may not allow opening a full lot.

You can also try switching off the Acceptance Criteria completely.

Before running further tests i tried to uninstall and the re-installed FSB and its now generating strategies within 30 sec. Awesome

i really dont understand this software if its the bug or what.

i sorted out the generating problem and now when i try importing the data from mt4 it shows me all 63 files are imported well. However they dont show up on the editor panel, when am trying to edit or generate the market i intend to choose.

You have to switch the Data Source to the one that received the imported data files.
You have to add the missing symbols from Control Panel > Symbols to that Data Source.
