Topic: History Center/Data Download

Hi there

Re. History Center/Data Download

1) Question 1: Is this tool only for downloading data from FSB's default data source?
Question 2: What is FSBs data source?

- I (mistakenly?) assumed it was downloading from the data source I specified in "History Center/MT4 HST Import" - for the MT4 .HST files for an FSB Data Source I created.
- However, I have now noticed/worked-out that it appears to actually be downloading from the default FSB data source.

2) The selector for 'Data Source' appears to specify which user created folder in FSB/User Files/Data the downloaded data will be saved to in FSB - not where it's downloaded from.
- I don't see any setting to specify "where the data should be downloaded from"

Question 3: Is there a way to specify where it downloads the data from?

I'm unable to clarify these questions from the User Guide.

Thanks for your help.

Re: History Center/Data Download

FSB Pro default historical data is from Dukascopy

do or do not there is no try

Re: History Center/Data Download

Thanks Yonkuro for quickly answering Question 2.

But I still need to know:

Question 1: Is this tool only for downloading data from FSB's default data source?
Question 3: Is there a way to specify where it downloads the data from?

Thanks again.

Re: History Center/Data Download

With the Data Download tool you download data only from our data server. Our data service collects tick data from DukasCopy and composes bars for downloading from FSB Pro.

By changing the Data Source from the drop-down list, you select where the downloaded data to be saved. The default is "FSB Demo data", but you can make a different Data Source and to download the new files there. A reason to do that is, for example, if you do not want the new data to override the old files.

Re: History Center/Data Download

Thank you Popov it is now clear.

I appreciate your quick and precise help.
