Topic: Binary Options Strategies

Hi,

I have found out that there are some brokers that offer metatrader trading.

Is there a way to make strategy trader work with the binary systems on metatrader?
A neat feature would be a binary strategy builder smile

Cheers!

It's more or less doable even now. Maybe additional entry filter is needed, like entry at every 15minutes on M1. I'm sure Ahmed can knock it up quicker than I can type this post. lol cool

Have you done thorough research on binaries? Only binary worth considering is Nadex, other ones most probably are or end up scamming you. Mind you, you are not actually buying an asset but betting against the broker...

A couple of threads for you from hopwood forum, they deal with this subject a bit:

Re: Binary Options Strategies

Hi,

Thanks for the info, indeed some binary brokers are not to be trusted, and your information made me make a cross on it for now.

I need a bit of help to untangle some mysteries :
I got a strategy going on in FST through MT4, and i have a close logic of : SL 5 and TP 48.

Logically this would mean the last point minus five on the eur usd pair for the SL and the last point plus 48 (so 4.8 pips) for the TP.

When my trade opens up with FST+ metatrader, the SL starts at 33 points higher and 65 points Higher.
I can change those back to the numbers i want afterwards by manually changing it in metatrader.

There is no minimum distance with my broker.
Am I missing something?

The idea is to do a simple heads or tails with the market, but keep the profits higher than the losses.

Another question : The spread factor in FSB is in x.xx format. Is the last number equal to one point in forex? For example, i have a spread of 0.2 pips in my broker, should i input 0.02 in the spread column?

I hope everything is clear.

Thank you!

33 points lower and 65 points higher, my bad

Re: Binary Options Strategies

Don't cross anything out, more important is to be prepared. I'm curious myself is it possible to autotrade options in the bucket shops.

Calc should be SL+spread, TP-spread. So, if you want them to be even or even favour TP, then TP must be higher than SL. You sure that your broker has not somekind of hidden fees like markup? Check account info in FST (or post a pic here, then the numbers would be much better understood).

In FSB I'm factoring in the digits. For example, 2 pip spread means for 4-digit 2.00, for 5-digit data 20.00 . Yeah, it's easy to have a small mistake there, always check the journal to see if spread numbers make sense.

Re: Binary Options Strategies

If you have 5 minutes can you put an eye on this?

These are the rates of my broker.

For now i have entered these settings in FSB.

Can you tell me if i'm on the right track?

Footon, your help is greatly appreciated. I thank you for all your support up until now. If i can return the favor in some way let me know.

Cheers smile

Also since this is a Binary Options Thread, if some other people read this, I highly suggest to check out Mike's Binary Channel  before starting out in this direction :

Re: Binary Options Strategies

The rates you get in FST account info is much more informative in my experience. But I think you have spread set up wrongly, you have 5-digits, so 0.4*10=4, put 4 as spread.

Here are the settings, but i'm starting to realise that the ECN account costs to much in commissions for m approach. I will instead use the Forex mini where i can use 1:2000 leverage.
