Topic: Parabolic SAR

Hi,

I can't seem to get this logic to work in FSB.

Open Sell or Buy when the price crosses over the parabolic SAR.
(Preferably it should open at the start of the next candle)

Make the trade close after X number of candles, or some other conditions.

So far i can make it open once it crosses over using the close and reverse in the close logic, but afterwards I can't add other conditions afterwards so the trade just goes on until it gets closed by the close and reverse.

I have found no other way to open a trade once it crosses over the Parabolic SAR.

Precision :
Currently it opens up multiple buys or sells between the change of side of the parabolic SAR. I only want it to open at the change of direction.

Perhaps check account settings on the opening screen and ensure that it will open one order at a time...

Consider using a moving average crossover to get the precision you want

Those may get you started

Opening point - bar open, opening condition - PSAR, closing point - n-bars exit, strategy properties - reverse on opposite signal.

I stand corrected. Ahmed, you should include "Changes direction up/down" logic in the PSAR indi if you can. smile

The ultimate goal of this is to use this to create binary options signals, so the expiry needs to be preset. Eventually i will try it out with other indicators than the parabolic SAR.

A cool thing is that we can set the generator to filter out strategies that have less than 70% win ratio, so i t can generate strategies that could generate profit in the binary systems.

Attached the Combo PSR WTF indicator

i spent lot of time editing it using Krog platform , its compiled fine and draw lines but when running the generator i receive
Error: Index was outside the bounds of the array.

I failed to fix the error
Any ideas before send it to Repository!!!!
