Topic: How to generate a long term profitable strategy

Here is the problem, I generate a new strategy for the eur usd or any other currency. It works very well during the 2008 market but loses everything in 2009, 2010, 2011... and keeps losing.

Reversing the strategy does not work.

Either the software is not testing the strategy accurately, which I don't believe, or the software just can't generate a profitable strategy - or such strategy just doesn't exist.

Does anyone has a profitable strategy to share?
