Conventional Technical Analysis teaching says that all bar charts are the same regardless of the time frame or currency pair or stock. I hear this said so often by 'gurus' and mentors it makes me doubt my own findings which is completely contrary to this.

I have strategies that work for certain currency pairs but as soon as I try them on other pairs they just do not work. It would be great to find a single strategy that works across all major pairs. Mr Popov's fractal strategy is fantastic on the EURUSD but no matter how much I try it doesn't work on anything else. Has anyone managed to do this?
