I test new design ideas in MQLGen, like:
- the Generator has own collection. It can export, import, and recalculate it.
- multiple collections for each market
- improved Balance and Indicator charts
- different layout of the "Editor" page

I'm going to use similar features in the new project I'm developing now.

Fixed the indicator chart redraw when scrolling with the Home key.

- It is 40% faster now because the indicators' computation formulas are optimised.
- The indicators strictly match the MetaTrader 5 ones.

MQLGen v0.5.17 Beta is uploaded.

This release fixes and improves the User Experience.

- The Browser's tab icon becomes red while the Generator is working.
- The Strategy slot and Strategy properties forms allow you to use the arrows to move between a number's digits.
- There are proper validation messages when an incorrect value is entered in a numeric field.
- We can cancel a change to the indicator parameters or the strategy properties with the Escape key.

MQLGen v0.5.13 Beta is uploaded.

The Generator can recalculate its collection now.
I managed to optimise the StdDev formula. As a result, the MACD and the Standard Deviation indicators are at least twice as fast as before.

With this update I consider the MqlGen application feature complete.

MQLGen v0.5.12 Beta is uploaded.

It comes with a lot of fixes and improvements.
The most visible updates are the options for working with the collections and the Generator.

As per my tests, the MQL Gen's Generator is faster than the one in EA Studio.

I made incremental updates of MQLGen with versions v0.5.8 Beta and v0.5.9 Beta.
The updates include various fixes of the user interface, adjusted the menus and commands.
I also updated the ToDo list at the first post of this topic.

- An action menu for the individual strategy was added. It has features such as "Clear strategy" and" Import an Expert Advisor back."

It comes with an improved Generator workflow.
- The Generator does not empty the currently generated strategies when it is started.
- If the currently selected market is the same as the market of the Generator Collection, the Generator starts generating strategies in the same collection.
- If the current market differs, the Generator asks if we want to empty the Generator Collection.
- Added options to export or clear the Generator Collection.

It shows data information in the Backtest Statistics table.

Added Statistics similar to the one shown in the MetaTrader's Tester.

It has deals History table similar to the corresponding MetaTrader's table.

The interesting part is that the closing deals are shown with the bar Open time, with signals based on indicators of open and close positions at bar Open.
However, if the close results from an activated Stop Loss or Take Profit, the deal time is shown 3 seconds before the end of the bar.

Of course, we can edit the Long rules only and the program sets the Short rules automatically.
