I've closed some things and its better now, 55% cpu with 2 instances .
But I'll take a VPS, it will be better to let EA Studio work all night

Hi jordytr971,

If you have 4 CPU threads, and you run 2 instances of EA Studio it'll use at least 50% of your CPU, if 3 then 75%, if 1 then 25%.

Your CPU may have more running background process than before, you can check it on task manager.

I havn't used EA Studio in 8 month and in my head it was more quick and was not using 40% of my cpu .
Something changed ?

Other idea would be a pauze button...

Simply minimize the browser or switch to another tab. Chrome runs the inactive tabs as a snail.

Thanks for your idea! i'm working on this/saving to buy a machine with a 3990x processor to dedicated it entirely
to find new strategies.

I solved the pause button issue by buying a second machine, a cheapie.

EAStudio runs at warp speed so my cheapie is doing some good things.

My original machine has so much junk on it that it has only about 45 percent CPU for processing.LOLOL

Pause button is pointless, just use Stop button. There's no preprogrammed route for it to "continue where it left".

that's a great addition Popov thanks!! Other idea would be a pauze button which would
make it easy to use the same computer for trading and pauze the process for a while
while trading manually and restart when the cpu can be fully used for the EA studio again
where EA studio continues where it left.

You can now set the "Working minutes" in the Generator and the Reactor to 0 and they will work until you stop them.
