I get disconnects from the broker a few times a day, but that is on my home computer so the results are not that much of a problem. I also get disconnects from my provider... it seems to be a regular thing.

That is one difficulty with using the internet, we are not assured of perfect connections.

Monday morning and i checked one of my main MT4 live trading accounts and got "lost connection" no trades were done since Friday. MT4 is running on a VS and other MT4 instances on the VPS were working fine with the same broker.

Is this normal?..and what can be done to ensure that connection is maintained...there was nothing in the log (journal).
