I think the direction of the second candle is irrelevant. The effect of this formation depends on the overall length and less on the direction of the second candle. First candle is large in direction of break, second could be a doji or a small candle, third is a bearish engulfing bar. Hmmm, yeah I'm sure you could set this up using the candle color indicator.
