No, strategy will work. You will not be able to export/create EA for mt4 if there is no mql(mt4 indicator version) code for certain indicator in FSB. You will get this error.

If you are able to do this without error, it means everything is OK, and all settings and all indicators what you use will be the same as in FSB. No need to look for external mt4 indicators. There is indicator code written inside exported EA.

Inputs for EA/indicators should be the same as in FSB when you exported/saved strategy. But please double check parameter values and change them if no same values is present smile

If a strategy generated by FSB uses certain indicators, and the indicators are not present in the brokers mt4/5, will the strategy not work?

I have exported a strategy to mt4, and while it seems to be operational (smiley face in the top right corner), it doesn't seem to be executing trades. I then noticed that a couple of the indicators that the strategy uses are not in the mt4 data folder...

For instance, there was no VIDYA indicator in mt4. Can I just locate it somewhere on Google and load it into the mt4 data folder and refresh to solve this? (Doing the same with all missing indicators)

And will the EA automatically set the inputs of the indicator? The input options in MT4 don't correlate to what is shown in FSB indicator slots, so I'm not sure if the inputs are correct.

Is there a place where the many different indicators in FSB are explained, e.g. to which group they belong (e.g. trendfollower) and where the work best?
I have some troubles to understand Strategies the generator creates when I do not understand the Indicators.
I would be glad if someone had an answer
