Multi Tester crashed several times during my tests, but I cannot currently find the reason. If it crash, close and reopen the Repository page. You'll find the calculated strategies in the output collection.

What indicators can you optimize?

Have all the indicators for optimizing and after approximately 3 hours 24,000 Calculated
After several hours, I got more than 1 million of strategies with generator. Then Multitester collected 12 (my Selection Criteria are very hard) but none of then passed the Montecarlo test.

This tool is impressive.

I have been playing with it last weekend and here are my comments:

1) It makes the work. After generator, multi tester select the strategies which past the criteria with out of sample data.
2) It is very hard to find a good and sound strategy. Personally  I use the following steps with FSB:
1. Generator
2. Now Multitester (great advance, formerly, on hand!)
3. Montecarlo calculation

Is it possible to run Multitester immediately after generator on automatic mode? That's FSB steps 1 + 2.

In this way we could put to work FSB several hours/days and then only performs the final Montecarlo test.

Dave was kind to report me various problems with the Multi Tester.

I'm going to fix them soon.

Till then, if the Multi - Tester stops with an error message, stop it (it will not stop .. ) However, you can close the Repository tab and reopen it again. You can find the calculated strategies collected in the Collection page. You'll not loose your work in that way.

You can observe the top one hundred in each category under the drop down opposite 'sorting'. There are 8 categories there, and you can filter those by the metrics below the drop down.......

So you can access most of your worthwhile results by manipulating the sort.

Indeed you may miss a few  but by using the various sorts you will see the best.

Is there a way to increase the number of strategies that fit into a collection from the current limit of 100 ?  I can see myself generating 100's of strategies for a currency pair and then using the Multi tester to cherry pick the best in sample and out of sample performance.

If you want to work with particular strategies, you can open them from a folder (by using drag and drop, or multi-select, or by using the Strategy Explorer). Later you can optimize the strategies and review the results. Save All saves all strategies back to the source folder.

Wow amazing Popov, it's so fast and I wonder how does the optimising works, i.e. criteria? The usual optimising for 1 strategy take a couple of minutes but this multi tester works so fast!

Another issue, the collection doesn't show which strategies the optimised EA from (which origin).  So if I'm running a collection of 50 or more, I won't know the optimised EA is from which strategy, all I get is strategy no 1, 2, 3, 4. etc.  Is it possible for the FSB to retain the original strategy's name, eg. 201, 150 etc and add a suffix to the original? eg 201(1), etc?

Perhaps there is a way to restructure how collections are made and saved.

I am wondering if the strategies that are being traded could somehow be added to a collection for bulk optimization.

It would be so convenient to be able to label the strategies within a collection and be able to transfer to another collection.. say like a master collection.

However, that may take a huge amount of coding.
