ok thanks alot I thought as much. using EMA btw period 5 and bollinger period 50, std 1.

Standard Bollinger works only on price, whether bar opens above, below etc.

well 1 day later and I still haven't figured this out. sorry to annoy you I guess but could you help me with it??? I've checked the indicators and used this program now and it doesn't seem to work to well with bollinger bands.

you will see in the indicator the various things that it does......

Please be sure to read the documentation on the site.......

Experiment a bit with each area of the software and learn how to manipulate each area. will take a while to see how all of the tools work.

noob question on bollinger bands

basically I want to create a strategy where when the MA crosses the lower band of bollinger it buys how do I do this I'm having trouble sorry if this is a noob question.
