How does the automatic update works?

1. While the programme is still running ( I keep my running 24/7 while testing demo account or doing live trading), or

2. Only when the programme is turned off and will start checking for new updates each time it is turned on again.

I do sincerely hope it is option 1, cos I don't keep turning my programme on and off everyday while testing or trading live.  If it is still option 1, could you pls put an indicator like you did in the FSB builder that reminds us that there is a latest version available for update.

What shall I do to get RC 1.1 downloaded?

You can force the auto-update by deleting the updater config file: FSB_Pro_Updater.xml
It is located at: C:\Program Files\Forex Strategy Builder Pro\Versions

Delete the config file and run FSB_Pro_Updater.exe manually.

FSB Pro RC 1.1 is ready for download and automatic update.

- Fixed an naming issue whne importing MT4 HST files. Now the program takes the symbol and the period of the export file from the HST file.

Multi Markets page helps you backtetsing a strategies on multiple markets. You only needs to select the wanted symbols and to press "Start" button.

The program shows also the individual tests stats on the "Market Results" tab.

Strategy Portfolio feature helps you evaluate the cumulative results of the backtest of multiple strategies.

You can see on the above screenshot that there are three strategies selected. The Portfolio panel shows statistical information for the cumulative balance and a portfolio chart.

The Portfolio info is automatically updated.

Important fact you have to consider:

- The portfolio chart shows the cumulative balance from the latest strategies backtest. It is not equity curve. The cumulative equity may differ significantly from the Portfolio chart.

- Stats info may differ slightly from the real one on some cases. It may happen when different strategies executes deals on a same bar. The Portfolio function sums the deals results in that case and considers it as one deal.

- The Portfolio chart and stats is calculated in the account currency of the profile of the first strategy. It may not be correct if the selected strategies are using profiles with different account currency.
