I am trying to make a strategy where:

A position is opened when there is a moving average crossover, and closed after a take profit of 18 pips or an opposite signal, where it would then open a position in the other direction.

I set the permanent take profit to 1800 and have it set to close and reverse on opposing signal, yet I can see it doesn't do what I want when I look at the indicator chart's entry and exit points. Any help on how to set the exit points to properly take profit at 18 pips?
