I need a clarification about the "reduce" option to scale your position down.

Let's say I have 2 brokers (for example Oanda and Alpari UK micro)

I would expect that a reduce signal would actually scale the open position down with Oanda (no hedging support), while with Alpari I would get a new, opposite position opened.

Is my interpretation correct?
