I love this about FSB, it's really fast to see how changes like this affect the strategy. My method is to run Generator while Strategy Properties is locked, so it finds a flat strategy with no enhancement (yet) from permanent SL/TP/BE or averaging of positions. Once it finds a great strategy, I then manually adjust each SL/TP/BE to find the optimal values. Then I run Optimizer for only the SL/TP/BE settings (further tweak).

Does anyone know? After generating a strategy I sometimes tinker with the stop/loss, take/profit, and other settings in the strategy properties window. By adjusting them I get an immediate change in the estimated account balance. Are these immediate responses in the account balance reliable? Or must I retest the strategy with my changes(in the properties window) to get an accurate estimate? Thanks for your reply. Good trading to all!
